• Me and my daughter Daisy

I am in my sixth year of teaching physical education, but this year is my second year at Thompson Jr. High.  I’m proud to be a Timberwolf and I am excited to work alongside such a wonderful staff. Prior to teaching, I have had experience as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, personal trainer, and as a NCAA Division I baseball player for Liberty University.  This background has given me a great context for how the content in physical education applies to the world outside the classroom.  I’m a firm believer that physical education should be a subject that helps students develop in both the cognitive and physical realm.  I place a strong emphasis on effort, participation, and on students achieving their full potential.  It is far more important to compete with yourself rather than those around you.
