• Mr. Newton     
    Shortly after high school, Mr. Newton served our country in the United States Army.  He graduated with his Bachelor's of Science Degree from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo and earned his teaching credential from California State University Bakersfield. Mr. Newton began his teaching career at Tevis Junior High. During this time he taught science, math, and sports officiating.  In addition he was the District Recreation Facilitator.  He received his Master of Education Degree in Educational Management from the University of LaVerne.  Mr.Newton first utilized his degree when he was promoted to assistant principal of Warren Junior High.  In 2009 he was named Principal of Leo B. Hart Elementary.  Mr. Newton enjoys spending time with his wife, Denise, and his two sons, Derek and David.  Derek is a senior at University of California San Diego and David is sophomore at University of Minnesota.
