WELCOME!  It is an honor to have your child in my classroom!  I have been in education for almost 30 years.  I have taught 7th and 8th grade for many years.  For 6 years, I served as a vice principal, and most recently, as a principal in Arvin.  Although being an administrator was rewarding, I longed to go back and do what I love to do most in education...TEACH junior high!  Rigor, Relevance and Respectful Relationships are my focus points in the classroom.  My goal each day is to bring learning to life!  I strive to keep my students authentically engaged by incorporating interactive strategies so that my students remain active learners.

My hobbies include running, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with my family.
