    Ron Christolear - General/Vocal Music
    Room:  M.P.R. - Stage
My name is Ron Christolear, and it is a pleasure to be starting my 21st year as the Classroom Music/Chorus Teacher at McAuliffe School.
I received my B.A. in Music/Voice from California  Baptist University in 1986 and Masters Degree in Church Music with an emphasis in Voice Performance from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in 1996
I began my teaching career with the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District in August of 1999 and thus am celebrating twenty years in the PBVUSD family.
I have had the pleasure of working with some of the best Music and Classroom Teachers in the Country.
    My Teaching Philosophy
1   Provide ALL students with a quality balanced music education.
2   Provide ALL students with opportunities to put what they have learned into practice.  These opportunities include participation in the school's Chorus, Band, and String programs.
    3.   Provide parents with the information needed to encourage students in their development of grade-level appropriate music through attendance of weekly rehearsals and scheduled concerts.
    My plans for this webpage
This webpage is not intended to take the place of written or verbal communication.  It is a place where parents can find information concerning details about Chorus including dates of upcoming concerts, and also what students are currently working on in their weekly music classes.
"Because music is a basic expression of human culture, every student should have access to a balanced, comprehensive and sequential program of study in music."
