• Robin Tabangcora WELCOME TO FOURTH GRADE!
I'm excited to start a new year at Reagan School! Your children and I will begin a new journey into the vast unknown! We will explore foreign lands and cultures through books, geography, videos, art, music, and friends.
We will learn higher levels of math such as long division, multiplying multiple-digit numbers, Roman Numerals, patterns, problem solving and much more. We learn about plants, animals and their environments, how the earth changes constantly, and we study rocks and minerals.
One of the highlights of this year will be the trek through time to the California of the Native Americans, the Mission residents, and the Gold Miners of 1849.
This is also the year students can participate in the Oral Language Festival,  Geography Bee, Science Fair, and even the Reagan Track Meet.
The most exciting part of fourth grade this year is that each student will have a lap-top computer on their desk to work on! We will learn keyboarding, writing, and how to do research on them.
It is very rewarding for me to see your children mature through the year and become confident in their ability to do school work, make friends, and participate in school activities.
After 24 years of teaching (23 of them in 4th grade), I still love what I teach and the students that I meet every year. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree and Teaching Credential at California State University, Bakersfield. I later completed my Master's Degree in Multi-Cultural and Bi-Lingual Education.
I have been married for 35 years and have 5children and 2 grandchildren. I enjoy traveling with my family, reading, and needlework.

I can be reached at our Reagan School at (661) 665-8099.

    My e-mail is rtabangc@pbvusd.net.
