I am both pleased and honored not only to be teaching 5th grade but also for being YOUR child's teacher. I believe that learning can and should be fun and so to this end, I will embrace every opportunity to instill a love of learning through a range of different teaching modalities and schoolwork.
Our class website is a great resource for both parents and students in keeping abreast of what is currently being taught, accessing resources, knowing what has been assigned for homework as well as knowing when assignments and projects are due.
Aside from being a teacher my other interests include reading, playing softball and volleyball, horseback riding, playing my bass guitar, and traveling to new places. On behalf our the entire class, I thank you for visiting our website and invite you to contact me via lmartin@pbvusd.net should you have any further questions.
